PROSPER (Policy Roundtable On Substance Prevention, Education, and Recovery)
Canada is in crisis when it comes to addiction. We now have the distinction of the highest rate of deadly drug overdose in the developed world.
Some have called for doubling down on the status quo—decriminalization, “safe supply,” and other lax policies. But evidence and experience shows we need a new approach—one that takes into account both the user & the community; businesses & families; commonsense, & humanity.
Our mission is to be the trusted source for non-partisan evidence and policy advice on drugs in Canada.
Our vision is to create a culture of prevention and a climate of recovery.
